Spin Zone: Obsessed w/ AirBnB & High Hopes for The North Face

Julie and Torin are off and running with the spring conference season in high gear. So in between regular episodes, Torin or Julie will give quick insights into the best and potentially, the worst of what we hear on the trail. In this Spin Zone, Julie shares a few highlights from The Gathering marketing and branding conference in Banff, Canada. The Gathering is a who's who of global cult brands and their most senior marketing executives. Julie heard and saw everything she needs to become an Airbnb cult member. She jumps into the mission-driven brand of "Belong Anywhere" and the AirBnB's diversity and inclusion strategy - "Include Everyone." She also takes a quick look at The North Face and their guidance to Be More F**king Human." Julie tags them as a brand to watch in what she hopes will be a fantastic brand (consumer and employment) inclusion strategy. Culture is king in cult brands...is your brand cult worthy?
