5 Classic Christmas Movie Scenes

Arguably, one of the most exciting things about Christmastime is the fact that we get to pull out all of our favorite Christmas movies.

While there are many delightful and fun Christmas movies made in recent years, there is truly something magical about revisiting the classic Christmas films that we all grew up watching. Here are a few scenes from our favorite holiday classics:

1. It’s a Wonderful Life

“Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings”

This classic final scene where everyone joins together singing “Auld Lang Syne” in George Bailey’s house is one the most memorable and tear-jerking scenes of all Christmas movie scenes.

2. Miracle on 34th Street

“Since the United States government declares this man to be Santa Claus, this court will not dispute it. Case dismissed.”

The courtroom scene in this family-favorite Christmas movie is a scene that is not easily forgotten, as proof that Santa Claus is real is thrown (literally) in front of the judge.

3. White Christmas

“I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.”

While there are many memorable scenes in this Christmas classic, the real reason this movie is so wonderful is because it gave us one of our favorite Christmas songs ever. (Thank you, Bing Crosby!)

4. A Christmas Carol

“I don’t deserve to be so happy”

While being called “Scrooge” near Christmastime is rarely received as a compliment, it actually should be taken as one if referring to Ebenezer Scrooge after his change of heart at the end of this classic film.

5. A Charlie Brown Christmas

“Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!”

This classic “decorating the tree” scene is both adorable and humorous; but, most importantly, it teaches a very important lesson about giving to others at Christmastime, as all of the children spruce up Charlie’s tree for him to surprise him.

We hope that you have a very Merry Christmas!
