The Team

Evergreen is powered by a team of knowledgeable executives, supported by rock-star talent, and backed by experienced production and broadcast professionals – committed to bringing entertaining content to people wherever they are.

Michael DeAloia

Chief Executive Officer

Michael is the CEO of Evergreen Podcasts. It has been an illuminating and fun experience. As a published author, columnist for a large daily newspaper and former host of a syndicated radio program, Michael enjoys the tumult and opportunity the old media and new media industries offer. Born, raised and corn-fed in Dayton, OH, Michael took his first big step in the world by attending Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. After graduating college, he worked as a software developer focusing on UNIX (the stone age of computer languages).

Michael made his way to Cleveland, OH after being accepted into Case Western Reserve University. “Everything great in my life – both professionally and personally – has happened in Cleveland. What a great, great place to live.” Michael lives in Lakewood, OH with his wife and precocious daughter.

David Allen Moss

Chief Creative Officer

David grew up in rural Burton, Ohio where he enjoyed (what some might say) was a storybook upbringing. In ’89 that all came to an abrupt end, when his family moved to Wisconsin and Moss went on to study industrial design at RIT in Rochester, New York. He later transferred to Purdue, joined the All-American Marching Band (yes, he’s a bando), later earning a BA in professional writing and visual communications. In ‘94 Moss headed south to Indiana University, where he launched his career as Graphics/Multimedia Director for the Learn More Indiana project. Along the way, he explored life as recording artist and founding bass/vocalist of two Bloomington-based indie rock bands, until his eventual return to beloved Cleveland in ‘99.

Moss’ disruptive background in creative direction, digital design and technology have made for a career on the leading-edge. In the last decade alone, David launched Future Center for Design and Tech Transfer at CIA, two boutique design firms and the culinary content company, Emerging Chefs – all arguably ahead of their time. A father of three and proud husband, Moss brings mad skills to Evergreen, where he’s fired up to help grow our family of brands into an international conversation.

Gerardo Orlando

Chief Content Officer

Gerardo grew up in Lorain, OH and has spent much of his career in the Cleveland area. After studying political science at Ohio State and graduating from Harvard Law School, Gerardo spent ten years practicing business law at a large law firm in Cleveland with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. He then caught the entrepreneurial bug and started an online publishing company, riding the ups and downs of the Internet era. Gerardo has also worked with companies in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies.

Gerardo’s passion for content development and lifelong learning drew him to the growing podcasting industry. “Evergreen has built an amazing portfolio of podcasts, and I’m excited to join the company and help grow the network. Our entire team is committed to producing compelling original content and also finding talented podcasters who can thrive by joining our network.”

Brigid Coyne

Vice President - Production

A Lakewood native, Brigid left the Cleveland area to study undergraduate Literature and the Liberal Arts, dividing her time between the University of Dallas (TX) and Christendom College (VA). She returned to her hometown in 2016, just in time to witness a thrilling Cavaliers championship and to join Evergreen Podcasts in their start-up endeavors. When she’s not creating audacious new content for Evergreen, you can find her attempting a myriad of sports, watching classic films, or perusing a novel. Please excuse her obscure “Office” references and unfortunate use of puns.

Anne Wade

Director of Account Management

Anne is a recovering actor, creative powerhouse and devoted sports fan raised in picturesque Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout her non-linear career, she has honed her skills in digital marketing, creative direction, and account management, earning a reputation as a results-driven and highly effective strategist. Her dual passions in life are sports and creativity, and she's spent countless hours pursuing both with equal fervor.

While she’s had a colorful career in stage and screen performance, her real drama comes from watching her beloved Browns, Cavs, and Guardians play (which undoubtedly has taken years off her life). She's been known to scream at the TV so loudly that her neighbors think they're being invaded by aliens.

Now, she has finally found a place to flex ALL of her skills! She's incredibly pumped to be part of a team that shares her passion for storytelling, with a “creator first” mentality. When she's not working, you can find her exploring the city's restaurant scene, checking out a show, or cheering on her teams from the stands (with a healthy dose of antacid, of course).

Douglas Bailey

Business Development Director

Doug is a Cleveland native and multi-disciplined creative. He grew up in the southwestern suburb of Broadview Heights before migrating to the westside after college. He studied Musical Theatre at Kent State University, before his charisma and extreme extrovert tendencies led him to a career in business development.

He is proud to represent Evergreen as Business Development Director. Doug's sales experience spans 13 years and multiple industries from manufacturing to medical. The heart of all he does is centered on cultivating and nurturing meaningful connections.

At home, Doug is a husband, father to four wonderful kids, a music and theatre enthusiast, and Star Wars nerd. He is the co-founder and General Manager of Theatre Agápe, a local non-profit creating opportunities for accessibility in community theatre; as well as an award-winning stage actor and director in the Cleveland area.

Luke T. Gibbons

Business Development Director

Beyond the four key chemical bases, Luke Gibbon’s DNA comprises an affinity for meeting people and nurturing relationships, an innate obligation to be on/in the water, and a love for listening to and telling stories.

Luke’s been in sales for more than 15 years, helping people in the restaurant business, consumer foods industry and construction trades. His experience has been with national distributor giants Sysco Foods and Chef’s Warehouse, as well as with local icons like Ohio City Pasta and The Euclid Fish Company. Did we mention, he just loves The Land?

Born in Cleveland, raised in Cleveland Heights and Lakewood, Luke settled in Ohio City post college where he majored in communications at Cleveland State University. He spends most of his leisure time on Lake Erie and in local rivers – paddle boarding, fly fishing, sailing, surfing and (every now and then) swimming. Fun fact: he’s surfed in the Great Lakes, up and down the East Coast, Australia, and California: fished for trout in New York’s, Michigan's, Pennsylvania’s, and Ohio’s rivers; and traveled the US from Maine to San Diego.

Angela Bartunek

Manager - Sales Support

A Cleveland native, Angela moved to NYC and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in fashion design and quickly immersed herself in the industry. After eight years in Manhattan, her roots came calling and she accepted a position at Kent State University’s acclaimed fashion program teaching design. As a creative with a tactical business mind; Angela gravitated towards photography where she started the wildly successful Aster + Olive Studio. She has been working with multifaceted clients for over 11 years and she’s excited to share her background in design, teaching, sales, customer relations and branding with Front Porch Media Network & Evergreen Podcasts.

Bill Huffman

Host, Producer

Bill Huffman is a news junkie. He caught the bug when he was in high school when Mr. Kraynack said being a reporter gives you a front row seat to history. After that, Bill was hooked. He was the A&E editor and reporter for The Cauldron at Cleveland State University where he covered everything from movie premieres to Snoop Dogg’s birthday party. Bill interned with Newsradio WTAM 1100 as a general assignment reporter where the addiction only grew stronger.

His first professional media job was as head of the editorial board for WOIO. Bill would coordinate with anchors, reporters and editors to come up with editorial ideas for the station’s general manager. He then parlayed that position into a producer gig for the one and only Carl Monday at WOIO. Bill then worked as a producer for News5 which is what led him to go “all in” on podcasting. So it’s safe to say Bill has been trying to feed his fix since he got a taste.

Bill has worked in radio, newspapers, television, blogging, and for the last three years, podcasting. Bill produces and hosts the successful Who Killed…? podcast. His first series was Who Killed Amy Mihaljevic? Last but not least you may see Bill on TV here and there because he is also a true crime talking head for ID Discovery and the Oxygen network. Bill is proud to say that he is now a functioning news junkie.

If you can’t find Bill in the studio, chances are he is either on the golf course, sailboat racing or ripping fresh powder on the ski mountain.
