May Podcast Playlist

May is a time when the momentum begins to pick up. We are springing into the things we want to create and focus our time and energy on. There may be a few obstacles left to overcome, but put them in perspective. When we put our egos in check, we are open to receive the abundant possibilities, resources and time needed to tackle our projects valiantly.

This podcast playlist was curated with all that in mind. Enjoy!

1. Achieving Balance with Congressman Anthony Gonzalez

In this episode of Up2 Adam talks to Congressman Anthony Gonzalez, one of the youngest members of the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a former NFL wide receiver, a college All American, and graduate of Stanford Business School. Anthony shares the two things that give him hope: 1. The capacity that congress has to do great work for our country, and 2. The willingness of members, regardless of party, to work together to make real solutions. He believes it’s important to see someone doing what you want to do in life – role models are key. When you’re young, you should expose yourself to different career paths, that way you will eventually fall into what you really want to do. The advice he'd give to his 21 year old self: Be a little bit more charitable with yourself when you make mistakes. Family is Anthony's number one priority, work second, and everything else comes after that. LISTEN NOW

2. Water ft. Lukas Kronawitter & Doug Paige

Wake Up Call recorded at the CreativeMornings Cleveland breakfast lecture in March of 2019, host David Allen Moss and attendees immerse themselves in discussions about Water, it’s power, restorative qualities, and how challenging it is to keep clean! Lukas Kronawitter and Doug Paige are this episode’s featured guests. There’s SO much to learn from the world around, but we need to take time to look and understand the value there is in living WITH the environment we find ourselves in, instead of trying to conquer the environment we find ourselves in. Plastics are a huge problem for the environment at large, but very much so for Cleveland, a city that has a significant legacy of creating legislation for environmental change as a direct result of a polluted waterway. "You can put lipstick on a pig, but they're still a pig." LISTEN NOW

4. The Oracle
