Evergreen Podcasts and DC-Based Big Whig Media Announce Partnership

WASHINGTON (Newswire) - Evergreen Podcasts - and Big Whig Media - a full-service multimedia production studio in the heart of Washington DC - today announced a partnership that will provide a seamless process for DC-based corporate and advocacy organizations, as well as government agencies, to produce and distribute podcasts and vodcasts to their intended audiences. The first project of the partnership is Buy Hold Sell - a fresh financial markets joint production with CrossCheck Media.

The Beltway market enjoys a high concentration of policy experts and organizations seeking to tell their stories, and this partnership enables those voices to be heard by their targeted audiences, including audiences well beyond the Beltway. Until now, leading policy influencers and advocacy organizations had limited production and distribution capability for content - often relying only on social media and email distribution.

"This partnership with Evergreen enables Big Whig Media to become a content channel that will revolutionize how advocacy is done and fuel a more decentralized medium for policy conversations for companies, associations, advocacy groups, and government agencies,'' said Keith Nahigian, Founder of Big Whig Media. "Our combined services offer any organization the ability to produce their own content and have it distributed in a professional and more effective way."

Big Whig Media offers newsmakers and other influencers in Washington a full-service podcast and vodcast production facility centrally located in Washington, DC - one-half block from the White House. Government agencies, corporate government affairs teams, non-profit advocacy groups, and associations are looking for more effective ways to be heard. With 82 percent of all content on the Internet now in video form, Big Whig will help produce their stories, while Evergreen will enable their stories to be distributed to millions of potential listeners.

"Partnering with Big Whig Media allows Evergreen to expand its services by tapping into a DC podcast and vodcast market and offering professionalized content production capability for those who utilize our vast distribution network," said Michael C. DeAloia, CEO of Evergreen Podcasts. "Together we will create a seamless capability for producing and distributing compelling content."

The partnership will build off of Big Whig Media's expertise in bringing in top Washington organizations and Evergreen Podcasts' experience launching unique podcast networks like Evergreen Podcasts, Killer Podcasts, Pit Pass Moto, and Five Minute News. The partnership also will allow creatives to use Big Whig Media's customizable studios to bring a competitive edge to their productions with a DC branch located in the historic Willard Center.
